Everyone reads the local and regional papers and some even attend or watch on TV the various local Boards to learn what is going on in the City.  But, do you really know what is going on?  Are you really informed based on the little you read and hear or what is not even reported until a lot of noise is made?  Do you read between the lines to fathom what is going on in your government?  Do you believe your government is open and transparent?

How many times have you - the taxpayer - asked or inquired about a problem or issue and given lip service or "we'll get back to you" only never to hear from anyone again.  How many of you have made complaints about serious "quality of life issues" only to wait around forever, if ever, to get any results.  How many of you have been treated abruptly or rudely, or made to feel that you shouldn't be bothering the people who are in government who are suppose to help and serve
you?  How many of you believe that the services you receive are up to par with the high taxes you pay?
